Mickey is a fellow resident of mine at both the Visions and Soulfulbeats parties. Apart from being one of my best friends, he is also one of the best selectors on the scene, always coming up with the freshest music, alongside tons of hidden gems that everyone else seemed to miss! A week today we are all making the pilgrimage up Southport for the 45th Southport Weekender. I,like many others, absolutely love it up there,and I've had so many good cracks over the years and amazing musical moments. This mix is what the weekender is all about for me, (and features a couple of artists that will be at this Weekender), and tells the story of a typical day/night for me over the weekend; getting ready in the chalet,hitting the alternative arena,back to the chalet to chill and check some deepness,then back over to the powerhouse, and then a nice big helping of the connoisseurs to finish.
